Keeping your hair healthy can be a struggle. All the
different tools we use can leave our hair damaged and dry. Here are 3 tips to
help you win the battle with damaged hair:
1. Always use heat protectant
It’s
important to use heat protectant before you use any hair styling tool. Right when
you get out of the shower, after your hair has dried a little, is the best time
to apply it before blow-drying your hair. If you use any other tools afterwards
like a straightener or curling iron, I would recommend using a smaller amount
right before you use these other tools. Even if you come straight out of the
shower, use heat protectant (because this is Arizona and it’s hot).
2. Don’t use shampoo
daily
It’s best
to not wash you hair daily. Shampoo takes out the natural oils that protect
your hair. If you have oily hair and need to wash it daily because it gets to
greasy, I would recommend using a dry shampoo product. This will help with
oiliness and keeps your hair looking clean.
Just like
your skin, your hair gets really dry, and in this Arizona weather it’s
important to keep your hair hydrated. I would recommend using a BB cream daily.
Just make sure if you apply it to dry hair you on put it on the ends of you
hair, and not to use too much or your hair might end up greasy looking.
